Shri Binod Dash is a distinguished educationist, industrialist, and sports administrator, currently serving as the Convenor of the Odisha Kabaddi Association (OKA). In this role, he plays a key part in promoting and organizing kabaddi events in Odisha, contributing to the sport’s growth at both state and national levels. He is also the Chairman and Managing Trustee of the Synergy Group of Institutions, which includes Synergy Institute of Engineering & Technology (Dhenkanal) and Synergy Institute of Technology (Bhubaneswar). His leadership has significantly enhanced the quality of technical education in Odisha. Recognizing his contributions, he has been nominated as a member of the Board of Management of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha. Beyond education, Shri Binod Dash is actively involved in sports administration. As the President of the Odisha Association for Rowing & Sculling (OARS), he has been instrumental in promoting rowing in the state, organizing events like the Odisha Indoor Rowing Championship. His contributions extend nationally, having served as Vice-President of the Rowing Federation of India (RFI) in 2012.
